King's Bastion - Ice Skating

The Ice Skating Rink is open from 10.00am to 11.00pm every day and the price of admission is as follows:

£1.50 for a half hour session and £3 for an hour session on weekdays before 5.00pm

£2 for a half hour session and £4 for an hour session on weekdays after 5.00pm and all day on weekends (The admission price includes rental of the skates)

 

All sessions are supervised by our trained staff who are qualified in administering First Aid.

For safety reasons, we only allow a maximum number of fifty skaters at a time on the ice rink.

Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult (we may allow younger skaters by themselves but only if the parent/guardian signs a consent form).

 

Opening Hours:

• 7 days a week from 10.00am to 11.00pm

Please note that the Ice Rink may be closed for short periods during the day for maintenance of the surface.
 
We also offer Ice Skating coaching sessions on the following days:
 
• Mondays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm provisionally (Instructor: Jenni Smith)
• Tuesdays from 4.30pm to 7.00pm (Instructor: Simon Newman)
• Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (Instructor: Jenni Smith)
• Thursdays from 4.30pm to 7.00pm (Instructor: Simon Newman)
• Saturdays from 10.15am to 12.15pm (Instructor: Jenni Smith)
• Sundays from 10.15am to 12.15pm (Instructor: Jenni Smith)
 
During the sessions, the Ice Rink may be closed to the general public
